I would 100% recommended this! I acquired an older property and apparently da vent had not been cleaned in eons. so much stuff came out,I thought I was fucking hallucinating! What looked like a spark from the dryer.
I should have got this a long time ago! It blew me away at how much came out of the vent. And I mean, there was a pile of lint,I think I found a hickory nut or two in there. The dryer vent runs about 15 feet under the slab. My dryer should definitely be operating better now. Boom, that brush worked like a charm!
Alright, so here’s the deal. I'm going to give this 5 stars, but I have some thoughts. Anyway, you are going to need a power driver to begin with because this is definitely not a well ventilated dryer vent without one, and if it has lots of bends, it kind of becomes worthless. I used the power driver and it got the job done. After I used this tool, I took my electric leaf blower to the dryer vent and blasted it out. It extracted a lot more in terms of lint! To be fair, the leaf blower did get a lot more out than the dryer would have ever done the dryer fan just doesn't compare. That's my little experience with it, more or less. Good luck!
This is an excellent choice for clearing lint from a metal dryer vent if you have a solid, sturdy, metal dryer vent. Lint fires are a real thing, so I definitely suggest trying this out! Simply strap it to your drill, follow the steps, and soon your vent will be clean as a whistle. It did wonders for me you guys!
This will be especially useful for cleaning out our dryer as it is quite long, and our dryer can be a bit fussy. The flexible tubing is exceptionally long, which I was very pleasantly surprised by!
